haha, so everything is related to SG50 since it is Singapore’s Jubilee 50 year old celebration! We came a long way and I love Singapore more and more as I grow older! Thank you for a safe, beautiful and clean garden city!!!! Come to Singapore and have a feast with our local yummy food such as Chilli Crab and Satay!!! ??? Reached Fukuoka safely in the morning! Thank you Singapore Airlines! It takes only 5hr 55min from Singapore to Fukuoda!! I think Fukuoka will be the next place I will visit for short trip! So when you reached Fukuoka airport, you have to take a bus to the main terminal! Then take a bus from the International airport to the domestic airport for train to city! ;/ This is quite a hassle especially when you are taking the international flight!! *Rush rush rush* JR Kyushu Rail Pass!!!!!! Helped us saved a lot of money!!!!! <3 One thing I super love about Fukuoka Airport is that you only take 2 stops to reach the Hakata Station which is the main city! SO CONVENIENT! I wish the train goes to International Airport though!
So I was in Japan during the rainy season (tsuyu)! Tsuyu visits most parts of Japan in june except Hokkaido. The weather tends to be overcast but may not rain everyday! Weather is super cooling and love the breeze!! Doesn’t feel like summer yet!! (*^0^*) It was about 22° to 26 °C~~~~ I think it only rained super heavily when I was in USJ in Harry Potter Theme Park! *BOO* However, I was too excited to be bothered! 😛 On the first day, my sister and I took the JR Kyushu Train from Hakata to Huis Ten Bosch Station, in Nagasaki! ^^ It took only about 1 hour 40 min by limited express “Huis Ten Bosch“! I was so excited just when I reached the cute station!!! 😀 I brought my Fukuoka Limited Edition Rilakkuma along with me this trip! ^^ I LOVE RAMEN!! You can see Huis Ten Bosch from the Huis Ten Bosch Station. Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan, which recreates the Netherlands by displaying real size copies of old Dutch buildings. The name Huis Ten Bosch translates into English as “House in the Forest”~ 😀 Check out the cute yellow and orange flowers at the edge of the station! <3 The station just looks so kawaii!!!!!! <3 Check out the interior! This is one of the hotels in Huis Ten Bosch!!!! I stayed at the other side of the station though! 😛 I used Panorama to show you guys the station and Huis Ten Bosch. ^^ Not bad for a first time I must say~ lol You know what, Japan’s air is just amazing! It made my hair nicer and skin looks better instantly! Woohoo~~~~~ selfie time! We reached the station quite early so we weren’t able to check into our Hotel yet. We went to meet my sister’s friend for lunch at Sasebo Station, to pick up our Shinkansen and Hotel tickets to Osaka! WOOHOO!!! When in Nagasaki, there are 2 food that you should try! One is Champon, also known as Chanpon, is a noodle dish that is an inspiration from Chinese cuisine, it is also a form of Japanese Chinese cuisine. Another is Sasebo Burger which I also tried on another day. YUMMY!! Super yummy and healthy Chanpom! 😀
Champon is made by frying pork, seafood and vegetables with lard; a soup made with chicken and pig bones is added. Ramen noodles made especially for champon are added and then boiled. Unlike other ramen dishes, only one pan is needed as the noodles are boiled in the soup. – wikipedia
Consisting of a base of noodles, and a topping of fried cabbage, bean sprouts and other vegetables, as well as squid, prawns, pork, kamaboko etc. There are two main varieties of noodles, thinner crispy noodles fried in oil (called pari pari, bari bari, or bari men); as a result this variation is reminiscent of Cantonese-style Chow Mein. Another variation uses thicker Chinese noodles (called chanpon noodles). – Wikipedia
We rushed back to check into our Hotel, Lorelei Hotel which is at the other side of the station! My sister booked this 4-star hotel since it is half the price of the hotel in Huis Ten Bosch!! 😀 I LOVE the design of the hotel as it looks similar to Huis Ten Bosch! It even have a superb Natural Hot Spring which is FREE for the hotel guests! <3 A lot of people came over for the hot spring too! When in Japan, you absolutely HAVE to visit Hot Springs even though it is cultural shock. LOL! I think I can only go with my family. 😛 I AM IN LOVE WITH THE BEAUTIFUL AND COZY DESIGN OF HOTEL LORELEI!~~ <3 Love the beautiful floral wallpaper! ! I can see Huis Ten Bosch Station and Huis Ten Bosch Hotel from Hotel Lorelei! 😀 I took forever to sort out my photos!!!!!!!!! Huis Ten Bosch is just too beautiful both day and night time!!! I’ve sorted many photos and uploaded over at my Facebook. Check them out if you like too 😛 I’ll just try my best to upload the BEST of the BEST photos here (SO DIFFICULT FOR ME TO CHOOSE!!)
